My honey's bacon

Bacon lovers love bacon! Anytime, any kind and any place. Here is a spicy and sweet recipe that will surprise your guests!

Bake a pound of bacon. You're going to need it! Thick slice works too! While it is baking, make the glaze that sets this recipe off! 

In a sauce pan on low heat combine 1/4 cup of honey, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, a dash of cayenne pepper, ground ginger but chopped fresh ginger is preferred and 1/4 cup of honey whiskey. Bring it to a boil and then immediately cool. Once the bacon is finished, slater the drunken sauce on top! The ginger becomes candied and adds a nice wake up touch to brunch!
