crispy green beans

Ingredients

Green Beans, fresh or frozen

Garlic

Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Butter

Black Pepper 

Salt

Seasoning Salt or Garlic/Onion Powders

Preparation

Use fresh or frozen long green beans. Trim the ends if needed. Coat a skillet with olive oil and bring to medium high heat. Test oil by sprinkling water to ensure a sizzle.

Cooktime

Toss green beans in the skillet on medium to hight heat ensuring they sizzle. Season and toss for 5-7 minutes. Add chopped or minced garlic 1 minute at medium high heat. Reduce heat to low-medium for a few more minutes..this reduces the crunchiness to your liking. 

Plating

These are so tasty and cute, they can almost be eaten as finger foods. However, plating them all in the same direction adds a touch of class. Top with butter while beans are hot!
